Over the past four months, staff at RES Group participated in two challenging physical events, showcasing remarkable determination and teamwork. The first was the annual Adventure Race at Normanby Hall, where 18 participants braved a tough 10km course. With relentless rain and grueling obstacles, every RES team member displayed incredible resilience, finishing the race despite the harsh conditions.
Ull2Paris Challenge
On June 29, 2024, RES Group took on the "Ull2Paris in a Day" challenge, aiming to cover the distance from Hull to Paris in 24 hours. This involved cycling, walking, running, swimming, and rowing across 488 miles. The challenge kicked off at 7:00 AM, and by 10:00 PM on June 28, the team had surpassed their goal, finishing with impressive results.
The purpose of these events extended beyond raising funds for ANDYSMANCLUB. They were designed to foster team spirit, enhance physical and mental well-being, and build a stronger sense of community within RES Group. Judging by the enthusiastic participation and positive feedback, the objectives were clearly met, leaving everyone involved with a sense of achievement.
In total, RES Group raised over £2,444 for ANDYSMANCLUB. This impressive fundraising effort, combined with the physical challenges, highlights the dedication and generosity of the RES team.
