Initially looking after local commercial and domestic clients, growing demand led to expanded geographic and trade coverage. Despite this growth, RES Group remains a family business, employing multiple generations and staying true to its values.

Chief Executive

Lisa, eldest daughter of one of the Co-Founders, Les Ryan, joined the business in 1999 as ‘Office Junior’. She created office working systems and has worked within all administrative departments throughout her time. Using her experience gained whilst serving in HM Royal Air Force, logistics and working systems are her strong points, with an eye for perfection. She prides herself on providing a good healthy working environment, staff and their wellbeing are of upmost importance.

Lisa leads the team with over 24 years’ experience within the business. She continually provides help and advice to all departments. She has overseen not only growth, but planned streamlining and auditing within the company, this and having that vast knowledge she continues to drive the business to success.

Simon Champion

Managing Director

Simon joined the business in 2001 as an electrician. Since then, his determination and loyalty has earned him various promotions over the years, resulting in Managing Director position from January 2023. His approachability and understanding has earned him the utmost respect of not only staff, but clients and suppliers alike.

Simon plays a key role in developing and executing RES Group's elevation. He has gained a unique and comprehensive understanding of the business, which is integral to successful running of the business and building solid foundations for the future.

Mark Shanks

Operations Director

Mark began his working life with RES in 2001 as an electrical apprentice gaining his qualifications and experience in electrical and maintenance areas of the business. More recently reaching the position of Operations Director in January 2023, heading up the Divisional Managers, leading with his vast experience and knowledge, in particular looking after major clients.

He is highly motivated, driven and enthusiastic with a proactive can-do attitude, Mark always strives to work professionally and with integrity.
